And FYI: this program will be in English and startups from the Nordic region can apply.
What you get in the program
Personalized Support from a Business Expert
Your company will have a dedicated business developer who will work closely with you. This person will become an essential part of your team, providing tailored assistance. You'll collaborate for approximately five hours a week.
Combination of Online and In-Person Sessions
We know that community and knowledge-sharing are key to keeping you motivated and making progress. Our program offers a mix of virtual and in-person meetings, so that companies from all over the country can participate.
Impact Measurement
Helping you understand if your product or solution is making a positive impact on the people it's meant to benefit, by giving you the knowledge and tools to measure your societal results.
Turning Ideas into Profit
Help in realizing the money-making potential of your company.
System Understanding
Knowing how to work effectively with the public sector as customers or collaborators.
Networking
Connecting with other companies and experts in social entrepreneurship and innovation to share experiences and seek advice.

A chance to introduce your venture to potential financial backers, social investors, and prospective customers.

Schedule a meeting with us, fill out the application and be ready for a 30 minute chat with one of our business developers. In the meeting, we will get to know each other and go through your application.
You’re eligible if …
- A solution that makes a positive impact and can be measured.
- The solution helps solve a prioritized societal problem.
- Proof that people are interested in your product (e.g. paying customers or testing partners).
- Big plans to grow your business.
- At least two people working full-time in the company.
Selection process
Pitch your idea
After applying, some companies will move on to the next step. They will receive training on how to present their ideas and get a chance to pitch to our partners and network.
10 companies move forward
A careful evaluation will determine the final selection. This assessment is done by a team of experts, which includes experienced business developers and investors.
Key dates
- The companies are selected between the 15th of Dec and the 26th of Jan
- The program starts on the 31st of Jan
- The program ends on the 10th of May
About the South Zero Accelerator
This program is powered by the City of Oslo and designed to show how impact-driven startups can play a pivotal role in establishing a 'Zero' community in South of Oslo.
